Up to eighty artists have been selected to exhibit their art
at the Golden Duck Gallery in Budapest.
After our first successful Budapest International Art Show, or artBIAS, just last year, TERAVARNA brings artists all over the world another exciting opportunity to exhibit at this fast-growing contemporary art fair. With their Grand Opening in June 2024, this exhibition brings artists the promise of their art being featured in the heart of downtown Budapest, by the banks of the River Danube and just a short walk from the iconic Hungarian Parliament Building.

Theme
The theme of the 2nd Budapest International Art Show was OPEN. Any and all subjects were welcome under this category, and all of our current themes also qualified under this. Both representational and abstract concepts, in any media, were considered. Please note that you must be 18 years of age in order to participate in any of our events.
All types of visual arts were considered, including but not limited to Painting & Mixed Media, Photography & Digital, and Sculpture & 3D Installation.
Awards & Prizes
Winning artists from this open call are invited to participate to show and sell their artworks at the 2nd Budapest Art Exhibition. There are no costs associated with the exhibition.
The 2nd Budapest International Art Show is a one-of-a-kind exhibition at the Golden Duck Gallery, in downtown Budapest, Hungary. Due to the high foot traffic of visitors during the early European summer months, this timeframe was especially chosen to maximize sales and exposure for our participant artists. More than taking part in the month-long exhibition, the artists will be promoted extensively in local news outlets, TV and media channels, and prizegiving event ceremonies.
All winning artists will be provided with Certificates of Recognition.
Timeline
Deadline for Entries - EXTENDED TO APRIL 20th, 2024
Winner Notification Starts - April 25th, 2024
Artworks MUST be received in Budapest - May 10th, 2024*
Exhibition Starts - June 4th, 2024*
Opening Reception & Gala Dinner - JUNE 7th, 2024
Exhibition Ends - July 19th, 2024*
At the conclusion of the show, participating artists will have the choice to ship their unsold artworks to them, or place them in gallery storage for ongoing exhibitions at other European venues.
