
TERAVARNA, a leading contemporary art gallery, is thrilled to make its debut at the Seattle Art Fair 2025, one of the most prestigious art fairs in the USA. Following its grand showcase at the LA Art Show in Feb 2025, TERAVARNA will be featured in a series of esteemed fairs, including the Superfine Art Fair in New York (April 2025), the artBIAS III in Budapest (July 2025), and the FOCUS Art Fair in London (October 2025).
Founded by the late Paul G. Allen, the Seattle Art Fair is the premier creative hub of the Pacific Northwest. In partnership with the Seattle Art Museum, Artistic Director Nato Thompson, and a dedicated Host Committee, it brings together collectors, museums, and innovative minds for an inspiring week of connections and rare opportunities for artists.

Theme
The theme of the Seattle Fair contest is ‘OPEN.’ Any subject & theme is welcome under this category. Participants can choose any medium of their choice. Both representational and abstract concepts, in any media, will be considered. Please note that you must be 18 years of age to take part in any of our events.
All kinds of visual art will be on display at the exhibition center, including Painting & Mixed Media, Photography & Digital, and Sculpture & 3D Installation.

Awards & Prizes
Winning artists from this open call will be invited to participate to show and sell their works at the Seattle International Show. (Please note that only winning artists from our juried open call will be invited for a free display and sell their artworks).
The Seattle Art Fair 2025, one of the showstopper art fairs in the USA, will take place in Lumen Field Event Center, 800 Occidental Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134, United States. Situated in Seattle's prominent SoDo neighborhood, south of Downtown and next to Lumen Field, the venue is well-connected by rail routes, trains, ST Express buses, and several Metro routes.
Not just a free showcase, there are more opportunities for artists to explore! They will gain exposure through local news, media channels, and press events, building valuable connections with collectors & art enthusiasts for boosting sales.
The fair’s expert curation and diverse range of works create a dynamic place for creative engagement and successful transactions. Artists and attendees can engage in a series of compelling art talk sessions and panels on a diverse range of topics.

Fees
The competition entry fee for each artwork is $25 (non-refundable). If selected, the showcase will be entirely FREE for the participating artists.
Things to Note:
Wish to submit more than 10 artworks? Not a problem! Fill in your details and resubmit. Submitting multiple pieces is encouraged as they help the jury to better assess your artistic style and how the works complement a gallery setting. The jury will evaluate the overall body of work, not just individual pieces. At TERAVARNA, we value long-term relationships with artists, so returning artists may have an advantage in the selection process.
If you submit your work on materials other than stretched canvas, you will need to frame them for exhibition. Regarding prints, they should be matted, with backing boards, and sealed in clear plastic sleeves. If needed, we can handle the framing and presentation at a decent cost.
Artists are responsible for shipping & insurance of their original works. Once the winners are announced, we’ll share the packing and labeling instructions. Please note that size restrictions may apply due to limited wall space.
After the exhibition, artists can either have their unsold works returned to them at their own costs or leave them with us to be transported to our gallery storage in LA, USA. Artists would pay for the cost of transportation though.
P.S.: TERAVARNA does not guarantee cash prizes for participants in any of its competitions. Only artists chosen by an independent jury from the pool of applicants will have the opportunity to showcase their work at the fair.
Artists can either have their unsold works returned or have them transported to our temperature-controlled secured gallery storage in California for possible inclusion in future shows at other venues.

3. After successful payment, you'll be redirected back to where you can upload your images and other details.

HOW MANY ARTWORKS ARE YOU SUBMITTING?
Although not required, it is strongly recommended that multiple artworks are submitted in order to provide a clear and cohesive understanding of the artist's portfolio.
