After an electrifying final stop at Saatchi Gallery, London in 2025, FOCUS, the art exhibition in New York is all set to leave its mark in the heart of Manhattan’s vibrant district, NYC.
FOCUS continues its gallery shows in New York with high-profile sponsors like LG Electronics, Roche Bobois, Samsung, NYC Culture Club, etc. with art giants like Sotheby’s and Artsy, curated by Hong Lee. Like previous editions, this premier partnership with renowned brands adds to the splendor and glitz of the fair.
Every chapter of FOCUS gleams with high spirit and energy, bringing talented creators, influencers, and innovative minds together, engaging in a meaningful dialogue with fast-evolving contemporary expressions.
The NYC chapter is no exception, as it aspires to celebrate diversity and innovation, bringing solidarity and deeper relationships within the international creative community. And the district of Manhattan marks a prominent backdrop for this unique international glitterati.

The gallery is now accepting applications to select the best pieces for a grand feature at the FOCUS New York 2026 — an incredible opportunity for both emerging and established talents to connect, network, and sell their work to collectors from around the world.

Theme
Work with any theme, style, and medium!
There are no restrictions to the range of genres or the style of expression for this FOCUS NYC open call. The theme for submissions is OPEN — meaning all current themes are eligible. To increase your chances of being selected, you’re welcome to submit work from any existing theme.
Applicants have the freedom to explore any technique or concept — whether representational or abstract — in any medium. This includes but is not limited to painting & mixed media, photography & digital, and sculpture & 3D installation. You must be 18 or older to participate. Note: AI-generated works are not accepted.

After the exhibition, artists can either have their unsold works returned or leave the current exhibits in NYC with us for possible inclusion in future shows at other venues.
Awards & Prizes
Unlike other NY gallery shows, the FOCUS NEW YORK 2026 is 100% free for invited participating artists, and there are no hidden costs associated with displaying works.
Please note that only winners from our juried open call will be invited to show and sell their creations at the upcoming art exhibition in New York. There will be digital showcase opportunities for the shortlisted ones who cannot make it to the fair in person, or cannot ship their works to the venue. TERAVARNA will present such winning works on large digital monitors to include every enthusiastic participant from all around the globe.
But that’s not all — winners won’t just be showcased at the gallery; they’ll also get major exposure through local news, media channels, and press events covered by media big shots. It creates meaningful exposure within a global context.

Fees
The competition entry fee for each artwork is $33 for physical showcase and $19 for digital representation at the fair. Entry fees are non-refundable.
Things to Note

Submissions of more than 10 artworks are encouraged for better jury consideration. TERAVARNA values long-term relationships with artists, so returning artists may have an edge in the selection process.

We recommend opting for our giclée canvas printing for participants living abroad to have a smooth and hassle-free experience. We will connect you to buyers who would be interested in buying the original piece, so you can manage the pricing and shipping effortlessly.

Artworks submitted on materials other than stretched canvases need to be framed for exhibition. For prints, we need to have them with matting, backing boards, and sealed in clear plastic sleeves. If you prefer, we can handle the framing and presentation for you at a decent cost.

Shipping and insurance for original works are the artist’s responsibility. We’ll provide detailed guidelines for packing and labeling once the winners are announced.

After the FOCUS NYC fair, artists can have their unsold works returned to them at their own costs.
Note: TERAVARNA does not guarantee confirmed participation in this show. Only selected artists who're selected by the jury will have the opportunity to showcase their work at Chelsea NYC.
IMAGE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Please make sure to meet all of the specifications outlined below:
1. Which file format is required for my submission?
-Only JPEG or JPG files are accepted.
2. What is the file size requirement for submission?
-Less than 2MB is preferred, but we will accept files up to 5MB maximum.
3. How should I crop my image?
-Your image should be cleanly cropped, showing only the artwork.
-Remove any borders, frames, backgrounds, or unnecessary elements.
4. How clear should my image be?
-Ensure your image is in sharp focus, not blurry.
-The artwork should be clearly visible from a front-facing view.

How to Apply
1. Click on the number of artworks you'd like to submit from one of the options below and proceed to make a payment. You can pay by PayPal or with credit card.
2. After successful payment, you'll be redirected back to where you can upload your images and other details.
