Yellow and Black Photography Quote (1).p

"My life questions about entanglement, many-worlds interpretations, arrows of time, consciousness, entropy, asymmetry, black holes, and wave mechanics have developed into an exploration of thought through oil painting and teaching art."

Waviparti, as the artist persona is named, demonstrated artistic talent at an early age, but did not initially pursue art as a career since the concern with the ability to earn a livable income in New York City took precedence. Inevitably, Waviparti returned to her creative self and graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

"What if a societal leader was gifted with a technological innovation (a lighter) to assist him with his task of creating a fire? This gift from charity would attempt to resolve some historical inequalities. The fish-headed figures in blue are merely symbols of motion for the leader's thought process as an organic creature with which he is entangled.
"This man is actually experiencing a phase transition into the quantum universe."

Waviparti explains that a brief life in our classical universe may be a mere visit from a more extended existence in the quantum universe since organic creatures occupy much more time than they do space. This led to Waviparti's creation of what is envisioned as a new form of expression labeled ubi sunt art.

"A band member, entangled with her thoughts (climbing a ladder without rungs), reflects on her array of obstacles as an African-American woman trying to create jazz in the 20th century. The owl-headed figures in brown are merely symbols in motion for a band member's thought process as an organic creature with which she "This woman is actually experiencing a phase transition from the classical into the quantum universe in her mind."

Using the ubi sunt motif, which represents mortality and the transience of life through meditation and reflection, Waviparti extended this theme into creative explorations of time and phase transitions of organic creatures. This art movement suspends time with the apparition of manifested thoughts in the space we believe we occupy. Embellished with dark energy and dark matter effects, Waviparti's art reflects the following themes in four phases.

"My art is informed by a search for knowledge in quantum physics."

Entanglement and Non-locality (Phase I): The paintings in this exhibit are examples of this phase. As organic plants convert light into energy, Waviparti manifests the possibility that they inhabit a variant form of entanglement to create photosynthesis. As organic creatures ourselves, Waviparti suspects that a "synthesis" exists in our relationship with light and dimension and that we exist as the sum of multiple states of ourselves, with only one energized state per lifetime. While this measurement occurs in one state at a time rather than through a collapse of the entire system, which would erase it, the question arises: is it then our latent image that is re-energized in a future time?

"My name Waviparti was created from the wave-particle duality in quantum physics, wherein all matter is either a wave or a particle."

Many of Phase I paintings have a protagonist with an animal head as a symbol of an organic "photosynthesis" event when they embark on a decision. Waviparti paints their thought process as dream-like sequences of overlapping images with hidden motifs, metaphors, and symbols.

"A young mother napping with her child is entangled with her own past thoughts of fable and illustration. The cat-headed figures in light brown are merely symbols in motion for a young mother's thought process as an organic creature. Her chores of doing laundry are less important as she experiences a phase transition into the quantum universe in her mind."

“All my years spent experimenting with invented techniques have led to the artistic expression of a life lived in the pursuit of understanding existence through creativity.”

"A competitive skater is entangled with her thoughts of fear (yellow), but once she competes (skates), she is nourished (pasta) and rewarded (candy cane) by her accomplishment. The wasp-headed figures in yellow are merely symbols in motion for a skater's thought process as an organic creature with which she becomes entangled. "This young woman is actually experiencing a phase transition from classical to quantum universes in her mind."

As the protagonists decide, they exhibit a form of movement, since their decisions are an accumulation of analyzing a problem from different perspectives. Once they arrive at a conclusion to their dilemma, their thought processes clearly reveal the obstacle that was once so hidden, and their logical paths for growth and enlightenment are revealed. The observer connects these thoughts and obstacles in search of a solution to the equation.

"This is a painting about self-reflection and a desire to arrive at a decision, with the following symbols fully explained: Do you see the umbrella? (Protect your thoughts.) Do you see the funnel on top of the umbrella? (Focus your attention.) Do you see the mussels in the dishes? Mussels have a hard shell with a soft membrane. (Be sensitive as to what you decide!)."The bear-headed figures in brown are a young man's thought process."

Many-Worlds Interpretation (Phase II): Phase II will be the exploration that there may not be "many worlds" so much as there may be varied "points of view" in a single quantum world.

"A man is entangled with his thoughts of disappointment at being a less accessible father to his children. This man is actually experiencing a phase transition as his imagination wanders about his lack of spice in life and his need to take control of his new direction."

Once a measurement is performed, what emerges is an entangled state that merely dissolves into one of the infinitely possible transparent histories rushing through our classical universe.

"An automobile driver, entangled with her thoughts of being less protective of her children, decides to refrain from having an additional glass of wine. The lion-headed figures in dark brown are merely symbols in motion for an automobile driver's thought process as an organic creature with which she is entangled. This woman is actually experiencing a phase transition as she reflects on her ability to nurture her children."

“Phase I of my art represents multi-entangled states which may be non-local, but both entanglement and non-locality may be a necessary association.”

Do you see the BALOON? (See through to your obstacle, in this case, a unicorn)

Arrow of Time (Phase III): In Phase III, Waviparti plans to focus on our scientific and emotional understandings of asymmetry and symmetry and the possibilities of multiple existences.

The musical notation of an appoggiatura is a symbol for yearning and desire.

Consciousness (Phase IV): As yet, Waviparti does not fully agree with the myriad of existing beliefs about consciousness (Cartesian dualism, epistemological, metaphysical, methodological solipsism, and modern idealism). This phase of the artistic journey will posit an alternative for us to consider. What happens when an artist considers these questions instead of a scientist or a philosopher? What if the approach is premised on a different form of creativity?

Dark energy swirls around a woman's daughters as they try to understand their environment.

"To create any given point of view, the observer and the senses being used are entangled as one and therefore meld to create a distinct outcome."
