Ksenia Semirova, a talented embroidery artist based in Hove, has dedicated several years to perfecting her craft. She sees embroidery as a form of magic that allows her to transform plain supplies like threads, beads, and small plastic or metal pieces into intricate and captivating works of art.

Lady Slipper Gold is the third wall panel from the Tropical Garden Series. Inspired by the elegance of tropical gardens, this composition is a result of meticulous visual research. In line with the trends of 2023, the monochrome gold palette adds a touch of sophistication. This panel showcases my experimentation with the form of the flower, featuring an alternative slipper shape and uniquely altered side petals. The fusion of cord sitting technique and mixed materials further enhances the artist
