Born with an insatiable curiosity and an innate inclination towards introspection, I found solace in art from a young age. Growing up in a community where I found the sense of belonging elusive, I often found refuge in the sanctuary of creating art. Through the strokes of brushes and the blend of colors, I voice the unspoken emotions that linger in the shadows of youthful existence.

My work contains symbolic portrayals of the intimate, isolating experiences many face during their youth. My pieces embody the essence of introspection. My portraits consistently employ a blue motif and a compelling, direct gaze from the subject. This intentional eye contact with the viewer establishes a connection and fosters empathy with the subject, simultaneously evoking a sense of vulnerability from the viewer. Hands also appear in some of my pieces as a symbol of unintentionally inducing isolation in oneself. I delve deep into exploring the root causes and impact that isolation has on youth, along with the complex emotions that accompany the profound feeling of disconnection. I remain committed to unraveling the complexities of isolation during youth, hoping to connect with those who feel lost within their own solitude.” I aim to cultivate understanding, foster empathy, and forge authentic connections in our fast-paced, digital age, where fleeting encounters have become all too common.
