Yellow and Black Photography Quote (1).p

“My art is never concerned with just superficial and visual aspects of a painting, I always aim it to be a lot deeper and meaningful than that.”

Szendi Werner was born in 1966 in Guessing, Austria, and spent his childhood and youth in Harmisch, Burgenland. He currently lives and works in Vienna and Kritzendorf. He discovered his artistic talent at the age of 16 and has never stopped thereafter.

Judaism, Islam and Christianity regard Michael as one of the four archangels.
As a warrior of light, he guides the souls of the deceased on their journey to the afterlife and is depicted with the attributes of the scales for justice and the flaming sword for light and truth.
He protects against negative energies, fears, dangers and threats and is the only archangel mentioned in the Bible. The name of my Grandfather and second name of my son is Michael. So he is my personal guarding angel.

He uses pencil, watercolor, acrylic, oil, gold leaf, and stones, as well as mental and spiritual energies for his works - all of these methods and materials make Werner’s work diverse, unpredictable, and exciting.

Through the center of the torus field runs a channel of light that flows through us and connects us to heaven and earth, thus keeping us in divine balance. Through conscious breathing we can strengthen the flow of energy. The energy flows through the channel, completely around the body through the torus and back in. This pattern of energy flow is found from galaxies to the human body and is one of the central patterns of creation.

After intensive chromatic studies that soon followed, Szendi Werner became enthralled with the opportunities to influence people and bring about specific changes with his art. To this day, this remains the artist’s main creative goal to create an impact with his work.

In search of the secret of creation, which should deeply touch people’s souls, I discovered that I should not confine myself to the level of my five senses.

Szendi Werner’s light and shadow technique imparts a unique atmosphere of harmony and peace to the paintings. Spheres and their shape have a special effect on him as Werner gladly introduces them instinctively into his paintings and treats them as magical elements.

“With my commissioned works, I fulfill the individual needs regarding special colors and energies, as well as environmental requirements to bring about specific changes.”

In his view, the sphere is a symbol of the universe and is cultural at the same time, so Szendi makes sure he uses the most out of this figure. Every quote made by the artist in this exhibition allows us to understand the depths of his art even further.

The north star is not only a valuable landmark for sailors and travelers. He is also a symbol and guide for all who have lost their way in life. He also symbolically represents the inner navigation, our deepest intentions, goals, values and desires and the safe way home. He gives stability and inner guidance to follow one's dreams and find a fulfilling, meaningful life.

“The creation of several sacral paintings for churches familiarized me early on with the techniques of the old masters.”

The torus is a fascinating primordial form that represents a self-sustaining, stable energy system and a body of sacred geometry.
Within it, life energy can be absorbed, circulated, and spent energy released.

Circles create a pinwheel and finally infinity symbols.
The rainbow colors create an enormous energy field that opens the heart and supports physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.

As for his inspiration, Werner uses the connection with the higher spheres as the main source - before he starts creating, he first gathers himself, meditates, and asks for divine blessings to guide his mind and hand.

The horse stands as a symbol of freedom and the power that comes from the feeling of being free. The horse also shows us that escape is sometimes wiser than fighting. The horse also wants to teach us humility and gratitude: do not express human beings with your power, or the power will turn against you.

By using prayer, meditation, and contemplation as resources for creative work, this artist channels his inner self into what he creates - after all, as far as Szendi Werner is concerned, the extent to which the artist can attain and express through his work depends mainly on what he is himself.

The infinity sign, also known as lying eight or lemniscate, is a very powerful energy symbol and stands for the infinite, the everlasting development and balance.
It brings us into perfect balance and harmony, creating connection and balance between the two halves of the brain and the physical and subtle body.

Through his paintings, Szendi Werner wishes to express his deeply rooted feelings about freedom, peace, love, and healing in the world. Although many artists are unaware of the role they can play in further developing humanity, Szendi Werner is quite conscious of how much of an impact his art can have.

The Shri Yantra is sacred geometry that has become form and is considered to be one of the oldest, purest and most powerful symbols. It is said to bring material and spiritual wealth and to bless the user with peace, strength and success.
The Shri Yantra creates a strong, balanced energy field with the high vibration and helps to remove obstacles in life by clearing the negative energies that surround us.

“To create an eternal, remarkable work of art and to be a true creator, I combine with the divinity, taking elements from it and giving these to my works."

Four pictures in one, each one unique.
What does the art critic say?

The artworks of Werner Szendi are characterized by professional brush guides and precise light and shadow guidance. The depth through a well-thought-out perspective and the conscious application of the golden ratio are reminiscent of the grand masters of the 19th century.

The white peacock would like to remind you of your inner beauty, grace and glory, that you can radiate your true self to the world and show yourself with dignity, free of shame and guilt.

Even in his new, modern works the principles of academic painting are not missing. He has currently been painting the Informel painting in abundance and even in that he replies with meaningful modernity, by life and brilliance convinced.

Art and music are the common language of humanity.
Since time immemorial, the harp with its string sound has been an instrument for accompanying cosmic-magic rituals and an essential instrument for the healing of the soul.
Harp music calms body and soul.

“I not only portray what I see with my two eyes but also what I see through my emotional eye.”
