If you are a first-timer in Paris exhibitions, follow these rules to enter the shows—

 

  • Book tickets in advance for esteemed galleries and Paris museums like the Louvre Museum, Grand Palais, Musée d’Orsay, and the Bourse de Commerce, as they ensure scheduled time slots for exhibitions.


  • Before planning a visit, know the weekly closure hours for particular galleries or museums from their official portals.


  • Some museums have late-night openings until 10 pm on specific days of the week; make use of them, as the places will be less crowded to visit. The Louvre Museum opens for the Nocturnes on Fridays.


  • Use the cloakrooms to leave your heavy belongings, like bags or coats, if needed, as museums have their own vestiaries.  


  • Galleries have tight security checks, so avoid carrying heavy luggage inside the galleries. Large backpacks are strictly prohibited. So, travel light.
