L.A. AXIS — Los Angeles Art eXhibition & International Showcase will bring together artists worldwide for curated physical exhibits in Los Angeles from December 5, 2026, through February 5, 2027, at
Lucky Cat Gallery, 620 S. Main St. #101, Los Angeles, CA 90014.
As one of the much-anticipated art shows in Los Angeles, L.A. AXIS will feature selected works, allowing each artwork generous display space.

FEES
The submission fee is $40 per artwork. Submission fees are non-refundable.
Artists selected by the jury will exhibit their accepted work at Lucky Cat Gallery without any additional exhibition or display fee.
If you would like to submit more than 10 artworks for consideration, simply complete an additional submission.
Following the exhibition, participating artists may arrange for the return of unsold artworks or, subject to availability and applicable storage fees, place them in TERAVARNA's Los Angeles storage for potential future exhibition opportunities.
Selected artists will get to showcase their work for free of cost at the dynamic exhibition space.

TERAVARNA and Lucky Cat Gallery Present L.A. AXIS
TERAVARNA and Lucky Cat Gallery come together to present L.A. AXIS, an international juried exhibition of contemporary art in Downtown Los Angeles. This two-month’s curated show connects artists with diverse artistic practices and audiences. L.A. AXIS marks TERAVARNA's first collaboration with a Los Angeles art gallery, adding to its international exhibition program.

L.A. AXIS welcomes emerging and established artists to present their art exhibits in LA before the wider creative community of art lovers, collectors, and curators. The exhibition is to present each selected work within a strong curatorial environment where it can command attention on its own terms

TERAVARNA invites artists worldwide to submit original artwork for consideration by an expert jury.
Following the submission deadline, the jury will evaluate and select from the eligible entries. Selection will be based on the artistic quality, originality, and visual impact, overall impact of the submitted work. Submission does not guarantee acceptance.

Artists are encouraged to submit works in any two-dimensional or three-dimensional visual art form. The theme is OPEN. From realism to conceptual work, L.A. AXIS will showcase a broad spectrum of contemporary exhibits in Los Angeles. Selected artists will exhibit without any additional gallery or display fee.

L.A. AXIS will be presented as a professionally curated physical exhibition with no digital displays. Artworks will be intentionally limited to give every piece adequate space, visual prominence, curatorial attention, and a cohesive exhibition environment where quality takes precedence over quantity.

L.A. AXIS brings TERAVARNA's international artist community into direct collaboration with Lucky Cat Gallery in Downtown Los Angeles for an exceptional two-month physical exhibition.
For the first time, TERAVARNA and Lucky Cat Gallery will join forces to present a major international exhibition in Los Angeles, allowing selected participants to position their work within one of the world's most diverse and influential creative cities.
The exhibition opens with its grand opening on December 5, 2026, and continues through February 5, 2027.
Theme
The theme is OPEN for L.A. AXIS. Artists are free to submit work reflecting their own artistic language, ideas, experiences, and creative direction, including painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, digital art, drawing, or any form of 2D or 3D visual art.
Artists may submit multiple works for consideration. A broader submission may also allow the jury to gain a stronger understanding of the artist's overall practice and visual direction.
All submitted artworks must be original and human-created.
AI-generated or AI-assisted artworks are not eligible.
Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
What Selected Artists Receive
A Physical Exhibition in Los Angeles: Selected artworks will get a complimentary showcase at L.A. AXIS, from December 5, 2026 – February 5, 2027.
International Visibility: L.A. AXIS will bring together artists from different countries and cultural backgrounds within a single curated exhibition, gaining physical visibility in Downtown Los Angeles.
TERAVARNA × LUCKY CAT Promotion: Selected artists will be promoted through TERAVARNA and Lucky Cat Gallery’s outreach and social media channels.
Press and Media Exposure: Selected artists at L.A. AXIS will benefit from TERAVARNA's press and publicity initiatives surrounding its international exhibitions.
Artsy Exposure: Selected artworks from L.A. AXIS may be featured through a curated TERAVARNA presentation on Artsy during the exhibition period, without a separate Artsy listing fee.
Certificate of Recognition: Selected artists will receive an official certificate of recognition.
Notes
- Artists may submit multiple artworks for consideration.
- Each artwork requires a $40 submission fee (non-refundable). Submission does not guarantee selection.
- Selected artists will not pay an additional exhibition or gallery display fee.
- Artists submitting works that require framing must ensure that accepted works arrive appropriately framed and ready for professional installation.
- Shipping, transportation, and insurance of original artworks to and from the gallery are the participating artists’ responsibility unless otherwise arranged.
- Detailed instructions regarding packing, labeling, delivery, installation, and return shipping will be provided to selected artists.
- Both galleries reserve the right to determine final placement and installation of artworks within the exhibition.
- Acceptance does not guarantee sales, monetary awards, or representation in future exhibitions.
P.S.: Only artists selected by an independent jury from the pool of applicants will have the opportunity to showcase their works at the Los Angeles-based gallery. TERAVARNA does not guarantee monetary rewards for participants in any of its competitions.
Image Submission Guidelines
Please make sure to meet all of the specifications outlined below:
1. Which file format is required for my submission?
- Only JPEG or JPG files are accepted.
2. What is the file size requirement for submission?
- Less than 2MB is preferred, but we will accept files up to 5MB maximum.
3. How should I crop my image?
- Your image should be cleanly cropped, showing only the artwork.
- Remove any borders, frames, backgrounds, or unnecessary elements.
4. How clear should my image be?
- Ensure your image is in sharp focus, not blurry.
- The artwork should be clearly visible from a front-facing view.

- All submissions must be entirely human-created. The use of AI tools or AI-generated content—including elements, compositions, textures, or upscaling—is prohibited at any stage of the creative process. To preserve the integrity of manual skill, any artwork involving AI in any form will be immediately disqualified.

2. Click on the number of artworks and proceed to make a payment. You can pay by PayPal or credit card.
3. After successful payment, you'll be redirected back to where you can upload your images and other details.
