This is for the first-time TERAVARNA collaborates with a Los Angeles art gallery, the Lucky Cat Gallery, inviting art enthusiasts, creators, and collaborators from across the world.
The grand opening ceremony of the joint exhibition will be held on December 5, 2026 in Downtown Los Angeles. The two contemporary galleries gear up to showcase modern and contemporary perceptions.

Theme
There is no restriction on the theme of this juried international art competition. It is ‘OPEN.’ Participants can submit artworks in any genre and style, from realistic to abstract, from experimental to surreal, using media of their choice. TERAVARNA encourages submitting multiple artworks for the jury process, as it enhances clarity and vision.
Improvise and experiment with painting, sculpture, digital art, mixed media, photography, or any 2D or 3D art, for that matter. Add your creative energy to these art shows in Los Angeles with a unique perspective. Note: AI-generated works are not accepted. Your work must be authentic and original.
Please note that you must be 18 years of age to participate in any of our events.
Awards & Prizes
Selected artists from this open call will not only exhibit—they will enjoy meaningful exposure through this international event.
FREE Physical Display at the Show: Selected artists enjoy a free showcase at the physical exhibition at the Lucky Cat Gallery. There are no hidden charges for display.
Press and Social Media Promotion: The juried artists will receive social media promotion, coverage on local news channels, television exposure, and press releases, grabbing a global spotlight.
International Visibility: TERAVARNA and Lucky Cat Gallery will promote the exhibition and participating artists through their respective international networks.
Certificate of Recognition: Juried and selected artists will receive Certificates of Recognition.
Notes
- Artists can submit more than 10 artworks to provide better clarity and vision of their respective profiles in a physical art gallery setting. The jury will evaluate the entire body of work for coherence.
- Winners will be selected through art calls and jurying done by an expert panel of jurors at TERAVARNA to showcase their work internationally.
- Artworks painted on materials other than stretched canvas will need to be framed because they cannot be exhibited without a frame.
- Shipping and insurance for original works are the artist’s responsibility. Detailed instructions will be provided to winners shortly after their selection. The instructions will contain information on how to send the artworks. All packing and labeling instructions will also be provided to the artists after the winners are announced.
- The Lucky Cat Gallery exhibition does not have any other associated gallery fees.
TERAVARNA looks forward to meeting the enthusiastic visitors who come to explore the works of the chosen artists at this remarkable show.
P.S.: Only artists selected by an independent jury from the pool of applicants will have the opportunity to showcase their works at the Los Angeles-based gallery. TERAVARNA does not guarantee monetary rewards for participants in any of its competitions.

1. Which file format is required for my submission?
- Only JPEG or JPG files are accepted.
2. What is the file size requirement for submission?
- Less than 2MB is preferred, but we will accept files up to 5MB maximum.
3. How should I crop my image?
- Your image should be cleanly cropped, showing only the artwork.
- Remove any borders, frames, backgrounds, or unnecessary elements.
4. How clear should my image be?
- Ensure your image is in sharp focus, not blurry.
- The artwork should be clearly visible from a front-facing view.

AI Usage Policy: Strictly Prohibited
- All submissions must be entirely human-created. The use of AI tools or AI-generated content—including elements, compositions, textures, or upscaling—is prohibited at any stage of the creative process.
- To preserve the integrity of manual skill, any artwork involving AI in any form will be immediately disqualified.

3. After successful payment, you'll be redirected back to where you can upload your images and other details.
