Packing and Shipment
Pack the work carefully and ship it with a tracking number, which we share with the collector through Artsy. Shipping costs you nothing: within the US it is free, and outside the US the collector pays the shipping fee you entered on your submission sheet.

You get paid
Artsy marks the work as sold automatically. Thirty days after the sale, you receive the sale amount minus your plan's commission and any applicable taxes.

Everything You Need to Know Before Taking the Leap
Can I list prints and editions?
Yes. Unique works, limited editions, and open editions can all be listed.
What do I need to send?
For each artwork: artwork title, artwork year, medium and materials, size of artwork, including framed size if framed, edition information, price, location, signature and certificate information, shipping, short description, and art images. For your page: A short third-person biography (plus CV if you wish to share one).
What images work best?
JPG—Minimum 1200 pixels on the shortest side. Detail shots and room views are welcome also; they will give the collectors an idea of what they're getting, and we will add them to your listings.
Can your team fill in the details for me?
Yes. Our managed service covers entering, maintaining, and updating all your artwork details for the full term of your plan, for a one-time fee based on the number of artworks.
YOUR ARTIST PAGE
How long do uploads and updates take?
About seven working days for any upload or update. A large batch can take a little longer.
Can I update my biography or CV later?
Yes. You'll find the details about the format and rules in the submission sheet.
Can I take a work down later?
Yes. Tell us which works to take down, and we update your Artsy page for you.
SELLING YOUR PAYMENTS
How can I sell more on Artsy?
Allow offers. On Artsy, works that accept offers sell considerably more often.
What currency are the plans and prices in?
US dollars, for both our plans and your artwork prices.
How should I set my prices?
With your plan's commission in mind. If you allow offers, you can set the price slightly higher to leave room for a discount.
How does Artsy promote my work?
Artsy's editors hand-pick works for their curated collections. For some of our shows, we also book Artsy's promotional placements, such as a gallery banner in the Artsy newsletter, or Pinterest, WeChat, and Instagram promotions.
How do I get paid?
We send your share to your PayPal account in US dollars, together with an invoice.
YOUR PLAN
How do renewals work?
Both plans renew automatically, so your work stays on Artsy without a break. You can cancel anytime before your next billing date. You can also email us to let us know if you wish to cancel your plan.
