Since Rocio G Montell aka RGM began her career as an artist, she has been told from the beginning that she must find her “voice”. She had debated with herself to find it, she has experimented with leaving her comfort zone and observed deep inside herself.

Diving into your thoughts. I think about k how much my thoughts are responsible for where I am now. There are bad days, good days, and regular days where each thought made me experience many positive or negative things.
There is that dark and bright side, like the Ying and Yang; for sure my mind is my friend and my worst enemy. You may find yourself sabotaging the opportunities and joys that life presents to you because of your narrative.
What do you say to yourself and why?
Digging into the uncomfortable and pleasant of her life to see which fibers are most sensitive. What she discovered is that her voice has many stories, feelings, experiences, and faces.

The overthinking power leads you to the negative, letting the mind control. How to become positive and changes your narrative? So many things that can weigh us down and many of them are outside our control. But the part we have in our control is how we react/respond to what is going on. How to respond even when darkness surrounds us?
The things she wants to say are a thousand stories and emotions that not only speak of herself but what surrounds her. Everyone is part of a whole that connects people. Directly or indirectly, there is always something to say or share with others.

What you feel, think, and believe creates your own reality. Realize that for every effect there is a cause, it is time for you to change your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. We need to open our hearts to the beauty of existence, beyond our created identities.
A geometric abstract representation of how thoughts affect us either positively or negatively. Of the importance to take care of ourselves and the narrative we share with us. We must remember to speak to ourselves with kindness and love; be patient with ourselves and trust the process.

Life can´t be described in 3 words or a simple subject. It goes beyond the tangible and unimaginable, so words sometimes are not enough to describe it. It is possible to explain or talk about the influence of life experiences and an individual's personality through art.

"I´M CONFUSED" is part of my art collection, "THE TEXT MESSAGE", 40 abstract paintings that translate the grief of a broken heart.
The project began with 20 artworks that narrate the story of a girl that got heartbroken and how a text helped her to find a new and evolved version of herself. A text that made her vulnerable but at the same time led her to understand herself in a different way. Brushes replaced her words and art was born from this experience.
The imaginary space and creative process as a way of communicating constantly involve the deepest part of the human being. It allows man to unearth such deep inner richness. Each one of her art series has evolved differently and shared diverse narratives.
