Raz Forh

USA

Yellow and Black Photography Quote (1).p

"Every blank surface looks like an unsolved puzzle demanding attention."

Raz Forh explores the kinetic intersection of visual art and auditory rhythm. Operating initially as a prominent underground music producer in California under the moniker Illecism, the artist translates tempo directly onto the canvas. His practice relies on an intuitive translation of sound into physical brushstrokes. Applying acrylic paint allows for rapid execution that mirrors freestyle composition. This immediate methodology captures fleeting emotional states without the constraint of formal academic theory.

SAMO | Acrylic

$15,000

16 X 20

This is a painting of Basquiat that won an award in Teravarna's abstract painting contest. Purple is the main color I used in order to embody the vibe of the late painter. Being a hip hop artist myself I named it SAMO because it was his name as a graffiti artist.

Growing up in Texas established a foundation of raw visual literacy. Street culture provided an immersive education long before any traditional gallery exposure occurred. Sketching local vehicles, neighborhood figures, and intricate graffiti lettering formed a baseline for his drafting skills. These formative urban observations birthed a lifelong fascination with subcultural identity. Such raw surroundings instilled an appreciation for art created outside institutional boundaries.

CHUCO | Acrylic

$12,000

20 X 24

This is a painting of the main landmark of the city I grew up in, El Paso Texas. The lone star shines all throughout the city, you can almost see it from anywhere. I used the wide spectrum of colors to embody the same feeling

Cinematic framing dictates how subjects exist within the pictorial plane. Drawing cues from the disciplined lens of Akira Kurosawa and the chaotic energy of classic anime, the creator balances opposing forces of control and disorder. Japanese animation artifacts and streetwear motifs introduce bold graphic elements into the compositions. This synthesis of eastern pop culture and western urban reality creates a highly specific narrative framework. The resulting imagery functions like a suspended movie scene.

"Surviving the absolute bottom gave my vision an unbreakable clarity."

Bridging European antiquity with modern defiance reveals unexpected conceptual depth. The dramatic illumination typical of Caravaggio informs how light shapes his figures, while the anatomical grace of Alexandre Cabanel guides his rendering approach. These classical sensibilities collide heavily with the subversive attitudes of modern street artists. Blending refined lighting with rebellious energy results in a distinctive pictorial tension. This duality elevates recognizable cultural figures into modern mythological archetypes.

WONDER WHEEL | Acrylic

$13,000

20 X 24

This is a painting of the Wonder Wheel from the movie "The Warriors". Such a dark film. I use my brush to bring the same mystery.

This is a painting of the iconic emcee "Nas" who has shaped so much of my life experience through his vocal paintings of street life. Homage to one of the greatest poets in the world.

NASIR | Acrylic

$90,000

18 X 24

Iconic musicians and cinematic outsiders populate his expansive visual universe. Rather than pursuing exact photorealistic replication, the painter chases the atmospheric weight and inherent defiance of each subject. These figures represent the marginalized fringes of society pushing into mainstream consciousness. By immortalizing these individuals, he documents the evolution of American urban identity. The canvas becomes a tribute to the resilience found within specific hip hop and film subcultures.

"Standing on stage showed me that raw vulnerability attracts a loyal crowd so dropping the microphone to grab a brush felt like a natural progression."

"Walking away from familiar creative comfort zones requires a specific type of madness. I spent years building a name in one arena only to realize my soul needed a completely different outlet to breathe properly. Finding peace in the quiet moments alone in a studio contrasts heavily with the loud demands of the music industry. Stripping away the noise allowed me to discover a visual language that had been waiting patiently since childhood."

Restricting the palette to monochromatic purples radically alters the viewing experience. Flooding the canvas with dense shades of violet and plum forces the audience to confront the psychological presence of the figure rather than just physical traits. Stripping away expected hues removes the subject from ordinary reality. This atmospheric tinting creates a moody nocturnal environment reminiscent of dimly lit music venues or dream sequences. Color becomes a tool for emotional amplification rather than literal representation.

GAVIRIA | Acrylic

$17,000

12 X 12

This is a painting of the infamous Pablo Escobar Gaviria. Hated by many but loved by many as well to this day. I use rich brushwork to fit the luxurious vibe of the life he lived and represented.

Utilizing fast drying acrylics matches the urgent pace of his thoughts. The quick nature of the medium suits the raw urgency of his initial artistic outpouring. A calculated transition toward oil paint is currently underway to unlock deeper structural complexity. Embracing slow drying materials will allow for intricate layering and refined textural finishes. This evolution marks a shift from capturing spontaneous energy to building enduring resonance.

BALTIMORE | Acrylic

$13,000

18 X 24

This is a painting of the city of Baltimore. I've spent a lot of time in the city and have seen the destruction. The city looks like a bomb was dropped on it and its waiting for someone to care. This inspired my approach, almost looking like it could use more work, similar to the infrastructure of the city in real life.

Global recognition arrived rapidly following a period of profound personal hardship. Overcoming severe adversity, his work swiftly found international placement in highly visible locations. Prominent venues across London, Greece, and Times Square have presented his paintings to diverse audiences. Securing placement in contemporary fine art publications further solidified his presence in the visual landscape. These milestones highlight the universal appeal of his deeply personal narrative.

This is a painting of the late great self made millionaire and fashion icon Giorgio Armani. A man of great class that I believe everyone can be inspired by.

ARMANI | Acrylic

$25,000

16 X 20

"Sneakers and vintage clothing tell stories before anyone even speaks."

FINAL ROUND | Acrylic

$10,000

18 X 24

This is a painting of a close Taekwondo match. A stuffy room. The final round. They both need this to win the gold.

Total transparency drives the core philosophy of his creative output. The artist actively avoids esoteric concepts in favor of direct visceral communication. Uniting the nostalgia of childhood sketching with the seasoned perspective of a veteran performer creates an uncompromising visual stance. Trusting personal intuition over market trends ensures the work remains genuine. This steadfast commitment to authentic self expression resonates strongly with international collectors.

This is a photo of the iconic female emcee '"Lil Kim" that we all grew up admiring for her feisty approach to the mic in a male dominated genre. Small lady, big heart and most importantly she had guts. I respect that.

KIMBERLY | Acrylic

$80,000

20 X 20

These canvases ultimately archive a lifetime of complex cultural absorption. They bridge the gap between street level hustle and gallery refinement. Every brushstroke archives a history of absorbing diverse global inputs. The resulting collection stands as a vibrant celebration of surviving and thriving. Viewers are invited to find beauty within the unsettling complexities of modern existence.

HENDO VS BISPING | Acrylic

$70,000

20 X 20

This is a painting of the legendary UFC moment when Dan Henderson finished Michael Bisping. This fight changed the entire landscape of the sport. Me being trained in the martial arts I was deeply inspired by this moment. A strong lesson in humility. The marble weighs close to 40 pounds. The final blow was just as heavy.

"Tomorrow is completely irrelevant when inspiration hits me right now."
