“The life of art goes through the harmonious life of colors and words!”
Pierre Cherbit’s painting has exploded. It shows us a variation of colors, an amazing depth, which changes dramatically a certain perception of the so-called flat surface. His touch, his intuition of light, his depth, his colors were rewarded at the Senate by the medal of progress delivered by the Société d'Encouragement au Progrès (founded in 1896), class Yvon Gattaz 2003 under the patronage of Mister Christian Poncelet, President of Senate.

Simultaneously, he invested himself in the practice of martial arts, including Viet Vo Dao that he has been improving for the last 20 years. He has also studied law and developed a business of financial consulting for long term investments, particularly in the US market and BRIC. Pierre Cherbit brings an artistic revival to the world of painting, possibly initiating the dawn of a new artistic movement.

I am very moved also by the translucency which draws near the smoothness of fruits that he glorifies like embodiments of nature. I furthermore notice that his vision of cracklings and the glare of the fire in one of his paintings (Feu) overwhelms that of Turner: a fire appears to me as destructive with Turner whereas with Cherbit it symbolizes for me the eternal joy of living. At last, vibrations and blazing’s of his divinatory colors (Prussian blue, eastern red, fruity yellow, holy purple...) are a delight for the soul.”

In a letter dated 26th of November 2001, Mr President of France Jacques Chirac, put the stress on the strength and the originality of the works of Pierre Cherbit. In a new message dated 18th September 2003, President Chirac renewed the expression of his interest for the process of creation of Pierre Cherbit which gives: “an unrivalled expression strength to the color.” In his letter of 11th of December 2003, Mr Christophe Girard, deputy mayor of Paris in charge of culture had sent his congratulations to Mr Pierre Cherbit for his silver medal awarded by 'Société d'encouragement au Progrès' and paid homage to his great artistic talent.”
