“It's the circle of life, and it moves us all, through despair and hope, through faith and love, 'till we find our place, on the path unwinding” Elton John.
What this body of work means to me is a chance to dig deep into my soul and rescue whatever remains pure and sacred, the feeling that takes me over while I watch my nephews play and laugh.

Self-revelation | Oil
$2,000
This is me confronting my skeptical side. On the one hand the faithful, wise and enlightened being, and on the other, the logical mind rejecting whatever does not fit its paradigm.
What moves me is this innocence that is the essence of their early years. Their fascination for toys and play is something I cherish and want to perpetuate in some of these art pieces. The visual representation is pretty straightforward. I portray them as just as they are, almost always in their best light, engaged in a ludic adventure.

Ivanna's Hope | Oil
$2,000
Here is Ivanna striving for her favorite skates. Nothing makes her happier than thinking about them. Whenever she is not at school or doing homework, she spins around and shines.
They play, they dream, they go to school, but their holy essence remains the same. This series is a chance to embody my most intimate interactions, encounters with a childhood's soul that floats and lurks in my spirit every time I remember these kids. It goes beyond appearances and tackles the inner self of the characters and objects to which they relate.
“The more I advance in knowing my creative core, the more I get sight of my future visions…”
The circular shape is a common ground in all the series, it is the thread that unifies them, and it is my hallmark. They express the unchanging aspects of eternity, the sacred. There is constant interaction with cubical backgrounds, which add to the human, logical aspects of life.

That's my choo choo train | Oil
$2,000
This is Adrian playing with his choo choo train. It was a gift from his dad who is now living in Chile.
Every time he visits, they put the train together and spend hours in the living room.

Every time he visits, they put the train together and spend hours in the living room.
Whenever there is good weather, Adrian ventures out and plays with his spin tops. As soon as the boys in the neighborhood catch sight of him, they gather around and take turns spinning the colorful toys.

In my artwork, both dimensions coexist, the mystical supernatural and the daily experience of joy and discovery.
“To round the sacred spiral, I need the observer, a third party through which this energy will flow and achieve the purpose for which it exists.”
Some of my pieces are self-portraits of mystical nature. They are visions of myself in touch with the holy and supernatural. Extended limbs that depict the intention of being in contact with something supreme and inspiring.
Geometry helps me achieve compositional balance and implement hues of color that find their way through the lines and shapes.

Educare | Oil
$2,000
But not everything is play, Adrian also has to attend school. It is long hours sitting at the computer now that he is taking virtual classes. However, he usually takes it the right way. His upbeat personality helps him find the fun part of it.
Geometry is my backstage where the characters thrive and play their act. Geometry is the backbone of my artwork and an element of conceptual and compositional relevance.
Joaquin dreams of being a pilot ever since he saw that movie on TV. No matter how much his mom tells him that he needs to finish homework before playing with his favorite plane toy, he usually finds a way to get around it.

Some of my pieces are self-portraits of mystical nature. They are visions of myself in touch with the holy and supernatural. Extended limbs that depict the intention of being in contact with something supreme and inspiring. In the case of the paintings showing kids, it is their striving for that ludic item. However, it is also the willingness to reach out for something beyond their reach.
his friend of mine and fellow artist Alan is so proficient and masters the painting techniques so well...he is slightly self sufficient and might come across as a rather aloof person. However, he is generous and dependable when it comes to sharing his skills. He works as an Art teacher.

Inspirational Orbit | Oil

Blaming Time | Oil
$2,000
"If I had enough money, I wouldn't be accepting commissions"....this is Alan's favorite excuse for not doing his own creations. "There's no time left for working on my own pieces...."...let me tell you something my dear friend: "Where there is a will, there is a way"
The series is not complete. There are still more pieces to come in which I plan to implement more aspects of my daily interactions and their significance. What guides me in the right direction is the basis of my iconic representations, the aim for linking these two dimensions in which we are all immersed.
These are Ivanna and Joaquin engaged in a dream that involves them passing through time. They are surrounded by toys and immersed in the three dimensional world, insinuated by the geometrical background.

Time Passengers | Oil
$2,000
On the one hand, at the reality level, we have an identity, a role, and on the other hand, around us is this halo of sainthood, which emanates from us and extends through our body and limbs. The more I advance in knowing my creative core, the more I get sight of my future visions, which might experience some change in format or medium, but will keep this need to express our mystical nature. To round the sacred spiral, I need the observer, a third party through which this energy will flow and achieve the purpose for which it exists.

Self-revelation 2 | Oil
$2,000
In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, my view of the natural world took an unusual twist. I found myself trying to come to terms with nature and its current implications in human destiny.
