Created through the focus of what tingles feel like when something makes us feel good .

She started painting later in life in May 2021. She started painting on a whim when her loving husband saw her using online digital platforms which were also new to her. He thought the blending she was doing was suited to oils.

Created through energy from powerful music that focused on the paths of life.
Created with permission while listening to the music of a Heyoka Man Joseph Blanco.

Her husband shipped art supplies to their home and encouraged her to paint. She was quoted as saying that the brushes felt so natural in her hands. The very first painting just appeared on the canvas with ease.

“When I start painting, I go to a whole other place and just paint.”

Soon her family and friends started reacting to the paintings and encouraging her to keep going forward with art. She is very humble and grateful and credits the gifts to the light and higher powers above. God is light.

Physical fire, spiritual fire, fire in the universe from hope.

Created with a focus on beings dancing spiritually for a purpose.
Earth, air, fire, water in the swirling energy.

Spreading light and hope is very important to her. She wants to spread the beauty and a message that hope is always there and all it takes is a little glimmer of light to believe in. Have faith in the little spark of light and it will grow.

“My ability keeps growing, I never plan a painting, it just happens. I don’t even know what I will paint, I just paint what I feel.”

“I love solving puzzles and seeing the good behind everything in life.”

When Melissa paints, she opens herself to life. She paints what she feels and really does not know how long it takes her to complete a painting. Out of curiosity, her friends record her from multiple angles as she paints.

As the colors and energy molded together into the canvas the many faces of beings with fire and light appeared.

All of her works are subject to light, and they transform in different viewing conditions (preferably under sunlight). At first, it just looks like nearly random colors getting spread on the canvas, but then, as she paints, it seems like a plan all along.

War destroying all that is good.

Melissa just looks into the paints, every section of it, and blends it together. Sometimes she might have one word in her head and focuses on that feeling and how it would be portrayed in energy and light.

The place we all try to go to even if only in our minds to feel serenity.

“All my artworks are directly related to sunlight, and it is truly hard for me to describe them.”

Existence Melding together; seasons and time is an illusion. Balance… there must be balance, the light is protection.

She paints really fast, and her mind has always been extremely fast and abstract. She is often heard saying that she just paints. Music is one of her biggest muses but is not used all the time. She lives in nature and paints in nature outside or from her lake cabin.

The light in trees.

Her paintings keep evolving with more dimensions and flow with bright releases. She uses textures to bring paintings to life. Melissa states that it’s hard to title her paintings because they can be described with so many words.

Created from thoughts of how ancient Egypt's history burns on fire from energy and how magical the sky is.

“To me, it is whatever the viewer would like to name the painting.”
