ROMANIA

Yellow and Black Photography Quote (1).p

“I believe if we imagine and develop a concept in our mind which is related to our hobby and actually work towards it, it becomes a piece of art.”

Everything in a person’s surroundings is a piece of art. It all depends on how much the artist was involved in creating it, how much he loved his work, or how patient he was to work on every single detail. The level of difficulty felt while working on it, entirely depends on how much the artist loved their work.

Nothing can be achieved easily because nothing is easy. Design, make your sketches, and improve your work but always try to be calm. Ignore things that distract you, and do not retreat. Fight but do not change your style. Be patient and one day you will get that satisfaction. Look at your design from different angles and distances to observe the whole piece of art. Improve as much as you can and as much as you feel that your art piece needs. Patience is a virtue, incorporate it into your art.

You need to work calmly. Give time for all your work, examine it after each step and after each layer you add to your painting. Go back to your previous work, and recall the ideas you had during that time. Don’t compromise and use a color that you were not looking for. Try again, until you find ‘the color.’ You have time and if you don’t, make time for this until you achieve the color you believe is suitable. If you rush things and pass easily over essential details the whole process collapses.

“I try to avoid working if I am running short on time. I first calm myself and make sure I have sufficient time to think about my design and only then do I resume work. It is crucial for me and the final outcome.”

Always examine the details, tools, techniques, and actions, even if it is as small as cleaning your brush. Each detail can reveal what is wrong with the work. Give more time to yourself, and your mind to understand your past actions, environment, light in the room, noises that disturbed you, music that you did not like, personal problems that you were thinking of at that time, eye problems if it was the case, or anything that matters and kept you away from your ideal working environment.

Marian always tells other artists that it is important to ask if they don’t know something. Maybe talk to a friend to discharge, but discharge the negative energy that makes someone lose faith in their work. It always helps in seeking an explanation for everything that is going wrong. There are so many blogs on the internet that share personal impressions on different techniques. It helps an artist discover right from wrong and understand things that bother them.

“I always try to learn from other’s shared experiences. If I am sad I avoid painting, even mixing oil colours. Because I know if I try and fail, I will lose my painting appetite and then it will take me a long time before I start again.”

“The use of colors is very important to me and I always take time to examine them one by one. I never use a color that just came out but I don’t like it because I know the whole work will suffer. It only works for me when I know that I like the color and it will look good on the canvas. I never compromise with that.”

Marian strongly recommends that it is better to do administrative work, prepare your new canvas, clean your desk, and select the oil colors you will need to start your next painting, rather than working at a time when you are not in the right headspace. The artist also gets rid of any other things that won’t be needed around the table. To make it better, it's a good idea to open all the windows and doors to get some fresh air in the room and fix a new and pleasant ambient.

Marian always puts on some good music, anything that is relaxing and creates a calming ambient to ease nerves. Once the body and mind are more at ease, it is time to think about the best artworks you have created so far. It helps in improving your mood and makes you more comfortable to start working on your next creation. He feels that it is easier to create a more satiating artwork when you are in a creative headspace.

Ispir never works when he has any problems bothering him, regardless of how big or small it is. It doesn't allow him to concentrate on his work. His mantra to feel inspired and most creative is to put all his worries at bay. This improves his concentration and allows him to be more focused on his design.

“I draw smooth lines when I design my sketch and wait a few seconds after each line I have drawn. I then imagine a pleasant view or place I want to be in that moment and smile.”

Your day will be different and you will have the power to start painting and try even a difficult design you have in your virtual plans but you never try it because you consider it hard to accomplish. Get a correct and relaxing position of your body on your chair and concentrate on your work.

Give some time until you start your painting or to design your sketch or drawing and imagine the forms or lines on your white canvas and see if it is giving you any interest to start your work. Try and start your work with confidence in your talent and imagination. You need your space, your air, your room, your privacy, your time. Ignore anything that can take your mind out of your painting project.
