“Her journey to becoming an artist started as a kid when she attended a sculpture class and fell in love with the clay and how it surrendered in her hands.”
Lilac is a diverse artist who explores new techniques and works primarily with mixed media. She builds her pieces one layer on top of the other; each layer adds emotional depths, mediums, and methods.
Memo | Mixed Media

She combines multiple styles, including oil painting, alcoholic ink, acrylic, watercolors, photography, pencil, charcoal, polymer, gel, photography, and clay.
Royalty | Mixed Media
$990
While she decided to focus on art only in recent years, Lilac has been creating, drawing, and painting since she was eight years old. Her journey to becoming an artist started as a kid when she attended a sculpture class and fell in love with the clay and how it surrendered in her hands.
“My art comes from my deepest feelings, from my gut, through my throat, begging to get visuals. It emerges out of me very impulsively, intuitively, and unplanned, in a flow, like a strong river that must go out and get its way.”
As a teenager, she used to paint, and painting became a tool to express her strong emotions. She ended up choosing a career in biology after taking classes in architecture and design in college and kept creating art only as a hobby.

The significant change of becoming an artist occurred after Lilac relocated to Arizona from Israel in 2016. This colossal change made her reconsider her beliefs, presumptions, and aspirations. During a coaching session, she had an epiphany when she had to fill out a questionnaire asking what she would do regardless of extrinsic rewards (money, status, recognition, or power). The answer was obvious to her: Art. That moment made her realize that Art was the only thing that was always there for her and that she never got tired of.
“Because her art comes out so impulsively, she often works on several abstract paintings simultaneously. She starts with one, continues to the other, goes back to the first, and then works on them at the same time.”
“When working on her art, Lilac lets herself completely loose, let go of the brain entirely and lets all her feelings out.”
Following that coaching session, she decided to take art seriously and show it to the world. Art became a purpose for her; it was more legitimate, and she gave herself the freedom to create a lot without limitations. That realization, the epiphany moment, set her free, and art came out like a waterfall that had been blocked all those years and finally found an open exit channel. All the thoughts, experiences, and emotions that evolved for years burst to outflow.

Over It | Mixed Media
$990
She enjoys the process of abstract painting, developing those in diverse ways while also striving to convey emotions and tell her stories: "My art comes from my deepest feelings, from my gut, through my throat, begging to get visuals. It emerges out of me very impulsively, intuitively, and unplanned, in a flow, like a strong river that must go out and get its way."

SPEAK | Mixed Media
$850
For example, the piece “Memo” exemplifies how she visually envisions her feelings. The painting was created after having gone through a stressful mammogram exam, and it was during that exam that she came up with the idea for the painting: She imagined a black-white-blue image of the exam’s findings, herself, and the clinic. Her deepest feelings about the exam, of stress and fear, were all melting into a gulf of uncertainty and turned into the artistic piece, “Memo.”

Sol | Mixed Media
$990
“Many times, she decides to add texture and volume. She uses paper, send, gel, clay (and more) to make her two-dimensional painting into a semi-three-dimensional piece.”

Journey | Acrylic
$95
Lilac constantly aims to improve her painting skills through precise landscape and figurative painting, alongside theoretical and practical art classes. While those paintings improve her techniques, the abstract paintings are those which express her emotions. Because her art comes out so impulsively, she often works on several abstract paintings simultaneously. She starts with one, continues to the other, goes back to the first, and then works on them at the same time.

Vacation | Mixed Media
$750
She enjoys adding different mediums to her works, and mixed media is her favorite way to create artwork nowadays. When she paints, she looks at the piece and tries to “feel” what is missing. She refuses to limit herself to a specific niche, continues to grow her skills and toolkit, and focuses on the mixing of so many materials and techniques in the same piece.
“She enjoys the process of abstract painting, developing those in diverse ways while also striving to convey emotions and tell her stories.”
