“Don't be afraid to be different, be afraid to be the same”
Lena Langer, abstract painter, from Russia. She started painting as a little girl, but actively began to develop her creativity in 2020. Her favorite artist is Mark Rothko. He is a famous American artist, a leading representative of abstract expressionism, one of the creators of color field painting.

If you imagine my ideas in the form of the firmament, and experiments, coupled with knowledge in the form of the surface of the Earth, then their combination forms the Golden Horizon - something bright, eye-catching and always with splashes of acrylic.
People have always tried to express themselves in different ways: through writing novels, poems and songs, through creating hand-made items and paintings.

Everyone has their own image of Autumn. In my case, this is a light female silhouette flying in the night sky, portending a cool and rainy season.
Her favorites in creativity are acrylics, texture paste and gold leaf. The leaf is an imitation of gold and, reflecting light, gives a soft glow to the picture, filling the space around with warmth. Her work using this art material will keep the sun's rays in your home and add a stylish accent.

Without ideas, there will be no experiments, and without the courage, there will be no result. And it doesn't matter whether the public approves of this result or not, because the most important thing is that she gets a thrill from the whole art process.

At the moment Lena is studying on the course "Contemporary Artist", and also takes an active part in exhibitions (for example, in November 2021 she participated in the Russian Week of Contemporary Art in the category "Abstract Art".) and competitions among creative artists.

Someone paints himself in realism, but I decided to portray my image in the form of a light and airy flower, spraying my art around.
Modern electronic or classic, it doesn't matter. As a child, she graduated from a music school and since then music has inspired her to new paintings and the development of her creativity.

Since ancient times, muses have been seen as a divine source of inspiration for poets and artists. Reflecting on this, I wanted to depict my Muse, which inspires me, standing behind my back while I draw.

Taking inspiration from the work of other authors, I find ideas that I apply in my art.

The ideas for this painting were my own thoughts that "I cannot", "I am afraid", "I am not worthy of anything." So, I decided to draw them and let them go.
Lena draws only original paintings of any size. And each art inspiring her and exciting in her own way.
I love listening to music and I am often inspired by certain music tracks. This set of two paintings was painted during the song "Sunglasses at Night" by Corey Hart.
