“My creations are primarily galvanized and stitched together by emotions.”
Eva Laszlone Wagner, digging into the shadows, catered to representing her emotions through art which was reinforced by her mentor. She was buoyed by her mentor to pursue art, wherein she aggrandized her emotional aspect, tailoring the subjects of her artworks to her personal experiences.

The painting, a swirling ballet of colors and shapes, is both decisive in its brushstrokes and subtly suggested in its shapes and imagery.
Dominant colors are shades of red and blue, creating a striking contrast with the accentuation of yellow and white. The varied colors create a dynamic, tangible sense of energy, resulting in a vibrant and impressive artwork.
She taught Economics in high school and college for 40 years. Her involvement with art started with drawing classes in her elementary school. However, due to the curb in proper training in art extending to classes in high school, and family coercion, she shifted to pursuing Economics as her career.

The varied textures not only give a sense of movement, they encourage the viewer to feel the rhythm and emotions.
She ceased painting after stepping into her professional career, however, the mojo was visiting exhibitions in museums and galleries. After her retirement, her artistic drive took her to the saga of painting in 2020.
“I have a robust desire for strong colors, followed by displaying an avant-garde choice in the style of clothing.”
After her entanglement with art and a stalwart desire for colors, she decided to join optimal painting schools to master professional painting techniques. Delving into the intricacies of art, she fathomed the need for professional skills to hone the art and acquire artistic skills.

Embrace the mystery | Oil

The image is lively and dynamic with an abstract, spiral design. Concentric circles of bold colors, including reds, blues and yellows, create a sense of movement and energy. A thick, textural paint application adds depth and intensity to the swirling pattern and draws the eye towards the center.
The painting is a lively, atmospheric composition. The interplay of colors and textures throughout the piece is particularly striking. Bright reds, yellows and oranges mix in the upper part of the canvas, generating an intense and dynamic atmosphere. These fiery shades convey such energy and evoke a strong emotional response. The transition to deep blues, blacks and muted whites creates a rich contrast in the lower half of the canvas that adds depth and complexity to the artwork.

Rapsody of colors | Oil

Wágner tried her hands in both oil and acrylic, however, oil painting intrigued her immensely. She believed that the greatest element that inspired her to pursue art was emotions, precisely, painting hues of her emotions. The variations involved in the oil-in-canvas process such as Glazing, Underpainting, Impasto, Sfumato, and so on, drew her attention and aftermath in experimenting with spilling more colors on the canvas to paint hues of her emotions.
“I thrive on the hope that my paintings with the interplay of unique colors offer the viewers an opportunity to deepen the emotional depth of art.”
“My works are inspired and reflected in emotions. I managed to whip myself up into painting topics that proffered a dimension of personal experience."
Wágner was deeply moved by the experience of the first painter's clock, which created the inner drive in her to continue trying her hands in art. For her, art was beyond a surreptitious form of expression, her keenness for strong and unique colors displayed the emotional profundity of the human mind.

The geometry of time | Acrylic

The painting is a combination of earthy tones. The central cracked gold square is a striking focal point, its reflective and fragmented nature drawing attention to imperfection and yet beauty. The golden vein-like lines surrounding the golden square create a dialogue with the central element of the picture, they add a hint of elegance and continuity, almost organically directing the viewer's attention. The emotional resonance of the painting creates a balance of strength and vulnerability.
Upon being faced with a family tragedy, she undergoes a transcendence and starts crafting icons for a Linden tree (A sacred tree that symbolizes prosperity, abundance, fertility, peace, justice, good luck, altruism, hope, calmness). These elements were indeed deemed as special to art, tailored to her feelings and emotions.

Soul to Soul | Oil
$600
35 X 35
My landscape from Soul to Soul offers an interpretation of nature's interaction between serenity and drama, capturing the essence of the rock wall and the forces that shape it. It suggests a world of tranquility and invites the viewer to immerse themselves in the soothing atmosphere. This use of color makes it extremely effective, evoking peace and introspection. The texture adds a touch to the harsh landscape. The unique and atmospheric elements of the picture, the mixing of colors create a sense of continuous movement. The play of light on water can be another aspect of realism or abstraction.
As her journey of deepening the relationship and knowledge of art grew, she started growing her network. She was invited to Austria (Dürnstein and Liezen) and to the Czech Republic (Frejstein) to exhibit her paintings.
The painting provides an intense visual experience. Swirling shapes attract the eye, suggest a focal point, depth and movement. The central design attracts attention and creates the feeling that the viewer has arrived in a space beyond the universe. Varying textures create uneven patches and streaks and encourage viewers to explore. The dominant red and black generate a strong contrast, the blue shade provides a counterweight so that the painting does not become monotonous.

Crimson Currents | Oil

“Many people say they do not understand modern pictures - the only answer, interpreting modern images is the task of the viewer, and the painting resonates with the viewer's emotions.”

In competition | Oil
$400
A stunning and visually stimulating work, it intertwines elements of realism with the unbelievable and the fantastic. The flamingo is an attention-grabbing figure in the foreground, its flamboyant form striking in red and orange. However, this bird, which is considered exotic and unusual, clearly deviates from the naturalistic nuances, which seems somewhat unrealistic. The rough sea and battleship bring a sense of movement and drama that is a blend of realism and drama.
As an aftermath of various visits, Wágner’s perspective was widened with exposure to various art forms. Visitors to exhibitions, as she accords, were drawn to her choice of color and theme, besides the use of surreal elements. She was approached by a gamut of art galleries for her paintings and she experienced the mojo out of participating and success in foreign art competitions.
What makes this work particularly unique are the contrasting elements – dark for the light, smooth for the texture. This interplay creates a feeling of tension and release, making the composition balanced and dynamic. The abstract nature allows for varied interpretations, which is a strong point as it engages the viewer's imagination and personal emotions.

Midnight glow | Acrylic

There’s no gainsaying that modern art is open to a plethora of interpretations, however, Wágner believed that interpretation itself is an ‘art’ that was in the eyes and minds of the viewers. She brought forth the idea behind curating her spiritual thoughts into her artwork. She inculcated art in her daily life, and her goal was to develop a similar eye for the art appreciators or viewers.

Swirls |Acrylic
$400

Dynamic and multi-layered composition. The integrated drops and stripes give an invigorating sense of movement, as if the painting itself were alive and changing. This sense of movement is enhanced by the jagged separation running through the middle of the canvas. The curved form that emerges from this division gives the illusion of depth and invites the viewer to consider what lies beyond or within this section.
“I heard the following from an art historian: You only have to buy the first painting, the rest will come on its own.”
