Yellow and Black Photography Quote (1).p

“To push the limits of one’s imagination, Edwin Suarez incorporates every part of these concepts in his artwork to near perfection.”

Edwin Suarez is a professional Canadian artist. His art collection which was created in Toronto, Canada, offers an incredibly unique interpretation of reality using bold colors, cultural influences, and geometric images.

Diamond | Oil

$10,000

This piece explores the notion of the beauty of speed and the explosion of color left behind.

Edwin Suárez's pictorial work suggests the paradoxical integration of nature, culture and diffuse rationality in which the tension between perception and imagination unfolds, which manifests itself in a more closely comprehensible way in the elusive world of dreams. The collage of interlaced images and the concurrent and overlapping planes summons us to a game of multiple mirrors, which challenge the background of the subconscious subjectivity of the observer.

Black Night | Oil

$12,000

diptych . This piece expresses the power of the African culture behind its rhythm and dance.

Edwin studied Fine Arts at the National University of Colombia. His pieces and compositions over landscapes, and his ability to use geometric images to fully correlate with the human body, are skills that not many possess.

I like to use vibrant colors and unique geometric patterns to create a lasting impression on viewers.

Another of the pictorial developments of this singular work, exhibited in a multiplicity of visual and cognitive stories, is expressed in the fusion of naked faces, hands and torsos with dimensional planes of parallel reality again associated with dream universes. A particularly powerful anatomy of identity in which we seek to locate ourselves in the different relational and emotional environments that psychologically we usually associate as the bodily features closest to our identity / identification –face-hands-torsos-. This is a suggestive approach to the sinuous movements of our incessant search for place and identification in memories, experiences and circumstances that repeatedly appear elusive and elusive.

Back to Back | Oil

$12,000

Triptych. Sexuality face to face, back to back

This piece expresses the journey of life. A fantastic realism seen from the outside.

Climber | Oil

$10,000

The many realities that are visible in his work invites one on a visual journey like no other – a journey that is continuously growing and expanding to new sentiments. His nude artwork shows the paradoxical intention of the eroticized modesty of desire and female power in access to pleasure.

Composing the image of what we perceive as “real” obeys a contraption of devices that are too complex to comprehend.

The many realities that are visible in my work invite one on a visual journey like no other – a journey that is continuously growing and expanding to new sentiments.

A complementary line of the work of Edwin Suárez, literally finds its materiality, with slight glimpses of the elaborations of the Dutch artist Maurits Escher, in which we can refer to as "impossible geometries", making paraphrases of the famous impossible figures, which move between the macro and micro dimensions, without being allowed to distinguish reference dimensions that clarify whether we are seeing a close-up to a microscopic close-up of a hyper-colored crystal or the digital image of a fragment of a shooting star.

Traffic | Oil

$7,000

Suffering of the daily life.

A failed attempt to find the right lens to understand the enigma of feminine figure, an incessant search to get closer to the subjectivity of women always driven by vital forces that are integrated on the edge of one’s skin.

Atlas | Oil

$5,000

Balance of the human race.

His landscapes, which in the midst of fragmented realities “capture” an image in the daily reality of present day, blurs our identity.

From chaos to stability, he powerful influence of women throughout the times.

Horse | Oil

$10,000

I use vibrant colors and unique geometric patterns to create a lasting impression on viewers.

Prayer | Oil

$10,000

Human mentality pure muscle no brain.

To push the limits of one’s imagination, Edwin Suarez incorporates every part of these concepts in his artwork to near perfection. My use of geometric images fully correlates with the human body.

An hyper –realistic vision of nature combined with human anatomy.

Two moons | Oil

$12,000
