“Every piece of my work that I want to paint always happens like a mind explosion and blood pumping.”
Byron Z Tripp feels he becomes unstoppable once he starts painting. It’s like going into another world. Once this feeling hits him, he feels like the art piece is already up there in the sky, and he is just downloading it on his canvas. He never limited himself to tools, material, skill, or style at all. He just follows his feelings and lets his feelings fly! He uses whatever tools and materials he deems fitting to express his feelings at that moment!

Ethereal ,lotus pond in first light | Oil
$42,000
36 X 168
It’s an emptiness of mind and peaceful moment in an extremely high note! Pounding in my heart, Reflecting my sole, dragging me into that dreaming scenery of lotus pond at first light. The stillness with full filled energy in calm! Nothing can disturb it, nothing can protruding into that Zeng! It’s totally loud in its calmness! It’s real but not real! It’s between touchable and untouchable! It’s in the visual site but not as what you visualized! It’s a environment you can be touched deep inside
Creating and letting his thoughts run wild is in the artist’s nature. He can tell a story only by looking at a crack in the wall or build a plot simply based on the shape of a water stain. Even during his primary and middle school years, creating art, writing his own poems, and composing new melodies on piano were some activities that he really loved and enjoyed. Apart from that he always looked forward to spending quality time with his parents.
“When I start painting no one can hold me back.”
Byron started pencil sketching, watercolor paintings, and ink painting on rice paper when he was about 6 years old. He always carried a sketchbook with him all the time. His classmates, friends, family, relatives — anyone around him became his muse and he painted them. He also created multiple plein-air sceneries by taking inspiration from any landscape element that he could find until it would get dark and he had to go home.

A few month after I extend both side triples the size until I really feel fully expressed myself and explored myself.
Byron spends all of his spare time painting. He loves the process of creation and takes immense joy in creating artwork from scratch. He is so passionate about his craft that he doesn’t even feel the need to rest because his art always rejuvenates him instead of tiring him out. It is his way of relaxation and he doesn’t want it any other way.

In recent years, he has felt especially drawn towards oil painting and has been making more of those. The presence of heavy textures, that come out as a result of the usage of strong oil colors makes him even more excited. Byron believes that oil paintings allow him to better express himself — who he is as a person, his philosophies in life, and his ability to inherit heavenly wisdom.

For Byron, oil paintings have become a way to channel his emotions and his knowledge. It’s like he has found a new path in life, that is not only meaningful but also gives him a sense of fulfillment. With oil paintings, all the knowledge that he acquired and all the skills that he has built so far in his life have found a beautiful path. The path allows him to multiply his knowledge with his skills and blend them together in a unique and beautiful manner.
inspired by one of my good friends who is a heavy metal music bend drummer. He love the music love the band. He dedicated his practice since he was child. being in a sheet metal installer at daytime, performing with bend all over surrounding area until midnight years and years never give up! When I saw he sing with band the whole spirit dedication make me speechless and so heart touching! He actually is a very calm gentleman but explosive energy in performance.

Every time Byron paints, he kind of forgets where he is and what he is doing. It seems like someone is holding his hand and leading him to move his brush on the canvas. He never needs any pre-planning or rough sketches at the beginning of his artwork. He has never created a sample painting to copy it on the larger canvas. Instead, he directly just starts painting, irrespective of how large the canvas is. He is, after all, just downloading his artwork from outer space.

inspired by California costal scenery in surreal way. I love rocks, I love the rock stand in tall in none stop raring wave. The more I paint the more I blend myself in to it. I always feel I am one of it. It is there, Don’t know how many years, No matter how tough being whipped, Stand up bold, Deep in my heart, Bracing in my mind, Bonding in my sole, It is who I am, It’s chipped off some,
It’s crashed some, Age got little changed, Shape got little changed, But spirit of it never change!
“I am being used as an artist! My creativity is second nature! I believe I was chosen to be an artist.”
