Zhang Jinsong is a widely recognized Chinese artist of watercolor paintings. He graduated from the Hubei Academy of Fine Arts in 1996. Nowadays, he is a member of the Hubei Artists Association.

She is a river in my hometown. When I was young, I used to play and catch fish in the river. She accompanied my childhood and teenage years. I grew up drinking the water of Yonglong River, so she is my mother river. After leaving my hometown for studies and settling elsewhere, when I saw her again after 30 years, the river no longer looked the same. Now, I can only use my paintbrush to capture her appearance.
