Linda Reynolds

USA

Yellow and Black Photography Quote (1).p

"I weaponize vibrant colors to awaken dormant feminine spiritual energy."

Linda Reynolds channels immense creative energy to elevate the feminine experience through striking contemporary visual art. Centralizing women as dynamic catalysts for universal growth requires a profound understanding of mythological and modern paradigms alike. The resulting aesthetic investigations position female figures as indispensable anchors connecting human society directly to the natural world. Such deliberate conceptual framing ensures that her portfolio resonates with enduring cultural significance.

Mother Earth | Acrylic

$2,000

36 x 48

Mother Earth is the center of a tryptic that is with Mother Sun and Mother Moon. Her headwrap shows all of the different geographical landscapes of the earth. Her strong dark figures of her face remind us that she was the first here while her hands create flowing streams. From her rolling hills creations rise up not yet formed while a mystical mist rises around her. Her power and strength is felt as she flows across the landscape of her home.

Reimagining foundational biblical narratives serves as a critical focal point within her broader thematic explorations. The archetype of Eve undergoes a radical transformation from a traditional cautionary tale into a multifaceted symbol of adaptability and intense curiosity. Showcasing this iconic figure across various situational modes highlights the vast complexities inherent in womanhood. Observers are thus invited to reconsider deeply entrenched historical assumptions regarding gender and ultimate power.

David | Acrylic

Sold

60 x 40

Here David, the slayer of Goliath, is envisioned as a female. Imagine, anyone of us could be chosen to be a David, including a women. We see her as a strong woman, looking boldly straight out at us. She comfortable holds a stone and her leather sling in preparation. Wearing a wool sweater and a tartan skirt, her stance is strong with her boots firmly placed on the ground in the ready. Her backpack carries her heritage, the time is fall-changes are coming. The city represents Goliath.

Celestial bodies frequently function as vital allegorical tools to dissect maternal properties across the cosmos. A dedicated series examining the intricate relationships between lunar cycles, solar energy, and terrestrial landscapes uncovers a unified creative presence. Portraying these astronomical entities as interconnected forces emphasizes the delicate ecological balance sustaining all organic existence. These specific compositions radiate a profound reverence for the environmental systems that nurture humanity.

"My exposed brushstrokes serve as defiant records of human labor."

An overarching commitment to pacifism and collective affection permeates the deeper layers of this artistic practice. Reynolds actively visualizes the intangible spiritual magnetism that draws individuals toward a higher universal consciousness. Moving beyond dogmatic religious frameworks allows her creations to speak a broader language of harmonious coexistence. The visual vocabulary deployed here acts as a peaceful antidote to the fragmented nature of contemporary global relations.

Elizabeth | Acrylic

$1,000

40 x 30

The portrait of Elizabeth was done for a dear friend, a strong woman who is graceful, lovely and feminine. Being an Eve herself she is smart, elegant and self-assured. She is as beautiful as a rose. Here she sits upon her golden velvet chair, comfortable in her beautiful gown. Her jewelry and the blue rose represent her family. Her gaze to us is confident, a field of roses her life's accomplishments, blue skies and a soft breeze her peace.

I have explored Eve as an archetype who lives within all of us for many years. This painting is perhaps one of the most dramatic. The background seems to be an explosive moment, perhaps in the formation of the earth. She has the green hair of the grass and a strong face. A pearl earring suggests femininity as do her large round breasts and her apparent dance apparel, soft flowers upon the ground around her. One hand behind her back while another firmly holds an apple ready to be thrown.

Eve | Acrylic

36 x 24

Formal training in commercial illustration significantly elevates the structural precision of her current fine art endeavors. Strict graphic design methodologies introduce a refined organizational clarity to otherwise chaotic emotional subjects. This intersection of applied commercial skills and unrestricted creative vision yields highly legible yet intensely complex canvases. Viewers benefit from an aesthetic experience that is both intellectually stimulating and visually accessible.

"I refuse to conceal the fierce intensity of my artistic labor beneath smooth surfaces because capturing genuine human spirituality demands absolutely raw and unfiltered expression."

"Stripping away physical symmetry allows me to unearth the chaotic emotional histories buried within my subjects. My canvases are not quiet observations; they are fierce declarations of universal love that actively reject the passive violence of our modern world. I summon the primal forces of the sun and the moon to remind viewers that women remain the unbreakable architects of human creation."

A deep appreciation for classical art history continuously dictates the organizational mechanics of her studio output. Referencing the compositional triumphs of past masters provides a sturdy architectural foundation for modern conceptual applications. Echoes of historical painting styles emerge organically through deliberate tonal shifts and calculated atmospheric perspective. By honoring ancestral techniques, the creator successfully bridges the divide between antiquity and present day innovation.

The American Dream | Acrylic

Sold

24 x 36

This painting defines the American Dream as freedom and justice for all. that unity is better than division. We can see the ground below them is grey, and as we go up we observe that their clothes are grey-all the same in color. When we come to their faces we see them in full color-each uniquely beautiful and together they are joined as a homogenous union. The beauty of them together in their diversity brings about starter homes in full color possibilities with a clear, calm, peaceful sky.

Emphasizing the tactile reality of the medium stands as a nonnegotiable requirement for every finished piece. The creator insists that the physical labor invested in the artwork remains plainly visible to the naked eye. Leaving raw brushstrokes exposed transmits the fierce kinetic energy generated during the intense moments of production. This transparency strips away the illusion of pristine perfection to celebrate the messy reality of human creation.

Winter Wonderland | Acrylic

$2,000

40 x 30

Winter Wonderland is based on a family outing in Vermont at the time of a sunset. I am a lover of people and our magnificent world. The way a sunset can change snow to pink and purple and make the sky a palette of color swirls changing by the seconds can bring such inexpressible joy. Couple that with the love and gaiety of family togetherness and you have a true Winter Wonderland.

Traditional approaches to capturing physical likeness are entirely discarded when rendering intimate character studies. Portraiture within this specific body of work prioritizes the extraction of hidden psychological narratives over superficial anatomical accuracy. Translating a subject's internal biography onto a two dimensional plane demands intense empathetic observation. The resulting faces serve as complex maps detailing lived experiences rather than mere photographic replicas.

The image of the universal God is pictured here, the creator of all, the vision of all. I did this painting in 2018 and a short while later saw a small painting of God Matisse did with all of the colors of the rainbow. I felt akin to Matisse with a shared image. In my mind the image of God means all the universal colors, symbols, archetypes, knowledge. Here God is envisioned floating, moving through space creating, constantly moving and being.

God | Acrylic

$1,000

36 x 24

"Superficial beauty vanishes when I excavate the true psychological identity."

Theodate Pope Riddle | Acrylic

$750

This painting celebrates the powerful, strong woman Theodate Pope Riddle. Born in 1867 she is one of the first women to be a professional American architect by forging her own path, pushing her way to success. Her career of notable buildings range from 1898-1927. She was also a survivor with the sinking of the Lusitania in 1915, choosing to jump ship. She led a Black Sheep life for the betterment. Check her out!

Provoking a relentless internal interrogation within the audience remains the ultimate objective of these vibrant exhibitions. Saturated color fields and aggressive textures are strategically deployed to interrupt passive consumption habits. The artist demands that spectators actively excavate the hidden meanings buried beneath the top layer of pigment. Engaging with this portfolio requires a willingness to embark on a challenging journey of profound self discovery.

The story of the first murder is captured amongst multiple myths and religions. Cain the son of Eve and Satan clubs Abel, the favored son of Eve and Adam, to death. The blood flows into the earth, never to be gone and to rise up again and again. Here Abel represents battered violated women and LGBTQ persons who die at the hands of Cain in their lives. The sun shows primal, violent screams of this forever atrocity the exists globally.

Cain and Able | Acrylic

$2,000

40 x 60

Ultimately, the entire catalog functions as a generous offering designed to enrich the daily existence of the public. Transmitting messages of resilience and interconnectedness elevates the standard gallery visit into a transformative spiritual encounter. Reynolds constructs aesthetic bridges that encourage individuals to look past superficial differences and recognize shared universal truths. Cultivating a sustained sense of wonder and philosophical curiosity stands as her crowning professional achievement.

Vienna Dancer | Acrylic

$2,000

40 x 30

Vienna Dancer is based on the dream of reaching for the stars. My daughters and I visited the Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna, Austria. It was there by the imperial summer palace and gardens where the inspiration of this beautiful painting came about. Wouldn't it be nice if we could all dance though a beautiful garden and reach for the stars towards all of our hopes and wishes. Chose to believe.

"Reclaiming the myth of Eve requires unapologetic strokes of rebellion."
