Originating from Seoul, South Korea, Kim’s rise to prominence in the arts and industry was predicated on a deep passion for innovation. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Design Studies with a minor in Art and Design from North Carolina State University. As a full-ride Pack Promise Scholar at the university, she excelled academically and remained committed to excellence. This strong academic foundation paved the way for her success in both artistic and business pursuits.

"Metalhead" is originally done in pen and ink on 12"x12" paper but I am selling the artwork on canvas. The original series is how a canvas stretcher turns into a fountain of water.
"Wonderland" is a printed image of a lithograph I created during my undergraduate studies at Art Center College of Design. It is a modern twist of the story, "Alice in Wonderland" but with a fox who snatches the clock away from Alice.

Beyond her artistic achievements, Kristie played an active role in leadership and community engagement. She served as Vice President of Social Media at the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and completed the Global Perspectives program at North Carolina State University. She was also one of the twelve finalists for the L. Ron Hubbard Writers and Illustrators of the Future illustration competition in Hollywood, California, in 2014, further cementing her status as a recognized talent in the art world.

"Petals" is a digital illustration of a blossoming flower. The design was created as a cover for the book I designed, "Kristie Kim Design." It is a portfolio book of the artwork I have designed during the last ten years as an artist.
Kim’s pursuit of excellence extended beyond painting, leading her into business management. In November 2020, she earned a CORe certification from Harvard Business School Online. Her academic endeavors continued with Graduate Certificates in Business Communications (2021) and Strategic Management (2023) from Harvard University. She culminated this journey by earning a Master of Liberal Arts in Management from Harvard in 2023, reinforcing her multifaceted career.
