GERMANY

Yellow and Black Photography Quote (1).p

“I am a self-taught artist; impassioned to bring the facets of my inner world onto the canvas.”

Elke Bügler began her artistic career in early 2023 at the age of 55. Triggered by a painting event, the joy of creating designs, and the realization that many years ago the art teacher at school had wanted her to pursue an artistic career. All of it combined acted as the push she needed to pick up her brush again.

Dimensions | Acrylic

$3,500

39 X 31

The dimensions in space are different to everyone. You can find your own perspective by engaging with the coloured steps of this work of art.

This artwork was created on a foundation of different levels of red tones. The dimensions presented were not experiential, and one evening I let my ideas run wild while trying out new tools and colours. Multi-dimensional structures emerged from this, which are reinforced by the underlying red.

She recognized her great passion and began self-studying the basics of an artistic education and learning about materials, techniques, and color theory. Thoughts became ideas, ideas became concepts for artworks.

Peace of Silence | Acrylic

$3,000

31 X 31

A Buddhist monk, immersed in meditation. Silence and respectful distance are created by wall and grid. The experience of this moment is supported by the calming basic shade of turquoise.

The artwork suits any interior style and should be presented on its own to really come into its own. It particularly emphasises a tranquil place where one can immerse oneself in relaxation like the monk.

“Inspired by my favorite color, red, I tend to use it over and over again in new and vivid ways.”

Works of art that have already taken shape. Works of art that have not yet begun. The artist approaches the realization of her ideas partly successively and sometimes very directly, only to give playful free rein to her imagination again in the next moment.

Touching the Void | Acrylic

$3,700

35 X 31

I recommend the film of the same name, which gave me the idea for this artwork. To bring it to complete abstraction by comprehensibly picking up the content elements without including the human component.

An absolutely breathtaking documentary that I couldn't forget for years. You don't know what would happen if you were in a situation like that. And no one can imagine the experience these friends had. Such an experience changes everything in life forever and irrevocably.

From large-scale flowers to impasto sailboats to abstract structures and monochrome visualizations, she sets no limits to creativity. Characterized by a red color palette, her works show a spontaneous and dynamic way of expression in acrylic painting.

This is about the human spirit, getting older and forgetting. Some people forget themselves and lose touch with the world around them. You never know what will be until it happens.

Fading | Acrylic

$2,400

39 X 28

“I love to give expression to a language that touches the interested viewers and makes them think about it for longer.”

“Within a very short period after I started my art journey, I received a lot of positive feedback. It was both heart-warming and motivating. It told me I have made the right choice and I should continue walking down this path.”

Elke Bügler loves to indulge in passion in her studio on a day off without any other appointments or commitments. It is on these days she gives shape to her imagination and creativity. The journey is both practice and a learning curve for her, giving her the pleasure of honing her craft.

About Passion | Acrylic

NA

39 X 39

There is no way to describe something like passion. Whether you have found it or not, and how you live it, makes a big difference to everything in life. If you know what I mean and can surrender to the flow, I am sure you too will be a happy person.

I love red, a passionate colour with many facets. Creating this artwork was a relaxing time for me but it was not easy to find the point to finish it. In the end it has many layers in red glaze that give it a depth to emulate the theme of the title.

The path of the artist she now follows is equipped with mature experiences in life, with full intention and great enthusiasm. She tries to be conscious of bringing her inner thoughts to the outside world, and to make sure it is perfectly reflected in every artwork she creates.

Summer in the City | Acrylic

$4,000

47 X 31

It's about the feeling of summer in the cities. The geometries of the blocks of houses that disappear in the glaring sunlight. What remains is the shimmering warmth.

At the beginning of this work, it was more about the structure of the buildings, the view around the corner into a small street. It was only half enough, and I felt I needed to bring it more into abstraction to reveal the idea directly to the viewer.

Elke Bügler loves to indulge in passion in her studio on a day off without any other appointments or commitments. It is on these days she gives shape to her imagination and creativity. The journey is both practice and a learning curve for her, giving her the pleasure of honing her craft.

Find your inner spirit by looking at this burning structure. Let it guide you. Live your passion.

This work of art is the result of a very intensively used day and the play with glazes and pigments. I had previously worked out the basic nuances in several shades of red and glazes, and then intuitively found my way into the flowing structure.

Burning Spirit | Acrylic

$2,250

39 X 28

She loves experimenting with colors and structures, and is always eager to try out something new. This results in very different types of pictures; which can vary from being partly figurative to simply just abstraction of a movement or emotion in colors. Or sometimes even just a symbiosis in between in a very special way.

“With time, galleries with an international reputation have steadily started showing more interest in my artworks.”

The creative process of the artist always leads to new inspiration and adaptation of unforeseen influences in order to further elaborate the original idea and make it tangible. In the end, each work of art is a unique piece that stands on its own and convinces with its clear language.

Prayers Close to Heaven | Acrylic

$2,550

31 X 31

Protected by the blue structure in the foreground, monks pray in front of a golden Buddha statue, countless colourful flags flutter in the wind. A monastery in Nepal or similar places that remind you to strengthen your own inner peace, no matter what is happening around you. So the soothing blue is fragmented, but always able to maintain ist mindfulness.

Early on in her artistic career, Elke Bügler was approached by galleries to participate in exhibitions and now also art fairs. Initial experiences at exhibitions in Istanbul, Turkey, and Zurich, Switzerland have been successfully realized. For her participation in two art competitions so far, the artist has been awarded the ‘Honorable Mention’ title.

Is it a flower? Is it a butterfly? It is a symbiosis that shows how summer begins every year.

Here I have again taken up my favourite theme of giving a flower a unique look and welcoming an auspicious summer with its sweep. The black grounding makes the red-orange glow particularly vividly, the touch of green brings balance to the composition.

Proclaiming Summer | Acrylic

$3,400

39 X 31

The artist is dedicated to her art and aims to present much more of herself and her unique art in the upcoming future. With her craft and series of outstanding artworks, she has created a secured place for herself as one of the finer artists across many galleries.

The Wave |Acrylic

$3,100

31 X 47

The sea. A wave. Moments of freedom and happiness. Holiday, beach, sun, relaxation, surfing.... Yet everyone is fascinated by the beauty of big waves.

But also a reminder of the rough side of our nature, which can be beautiful but also deadly. Big waves are always in demand by all kinds of surfers. Each of them is in search of their own perfect wave. But every wave has its price...

“I am gradually trying to expand my international online presence on selected and established art platforms.”
