TERAVARNA INTERNATIONAL ARTIST GRANTS
SUMMER 2025

TERAVARNA awards $2,000 cash grants twice a year to visual artists worldwide.

Anyone aged 18 or older from any country is eligible to apply. Artists under 18 must submit a signed NOC from a parent or guardian. We welcome emerging, amateur, and established artists to submit their original artworks along with an updated resume, biography, and artist statement.

To submit application for artist grants you’ll need to submit –

• Your name

• Your email

• Your country

• Up to 5 artworks (you can submit more with an additional entry)

The entry fee is $45 for 5 artworks. Follow the same submission procedure for the next set of entries. Entry fees help fund the grant program and ensure seamless operation.

To access the secure payment portal, click on the ‘apply now’ button on the banner. You can pay through PayPal and credit cards. After the payment is made, you will be redirected to the submission form to submit your artworks.

Our upcoming deadlines:

• Summer Grant: June 15, 2025

• Winter Grant: Date to be announced later.

Results are announced within 10 days of the deadline, and winners are paid within 1 month of the announcement. We notify all applicants, whether selected or not, so check your spam folder just in case. (On rare occasions, the notification time may be delayed).

Yes! Past applicants and winners are welcome to reapply. Every application is judged independently by a new jury each grant cycle.

That depends on how many artists apply for the grants per cycle, their artistic excellence, the decision of the jury, and a host of other things.

Of course. The Jury would get to see a wider spectrum of your creative work.

TERAVARNA does the jurying fairly, assigning alphanumeric numbers to the artworks so that the jurors don’t see your name or personal information. Judging is based only on the submitted pieces.

Yes, we accept resumes, biographies, and artist statements alongside your artworks to better understand your artistic journey.

$2,000 in cash prizes was awarded to 166 artists in the last 8G Grant Competition.

A total of $12,500 in prize money was awarded across the last 8 artist grant competitions.

Artists retain full ownership of the rights to their artworks.

No. Once your submission is successfully processed, the fee is non-refundable.
